What ngopr does

ngopr is a public-relations platform for NGOs: discovery, verified profiles and outreach in one place. It exists to give an organisation the reliable, consistent presence that supports fundraising and amplifies its reach.

Discovery

A searchable catalogue you can filter by country, cause, size and founding year, browse by country or cause, or explore on a world map — so a visitor can find the organisations working on what they care about.

Verified profiles

An organisation can claim its own profile. A claim is reviewed before the profile is shown as claimed, so a listing that carries the claimed marker has been checked rather than self-declared.

Outreach

The catalogue is built to be the starting point for public-relations work: helping an organisation get its story in front of the people who fund and support it.

Where the data comes from

Organisations are assembled only from openly licensed public registers and open datasets — charity and non-profit regulators and community-maintained open data — and each record keeps the source it came from and the licence that source is published under.

Data is drawn only from openly licensed registers, with attribution. Coverage is strong for some countries and thin or absent elsewhere; the directory does not claim global completeness.

Where a licence requires a credit line, it is shown on the organisation’s profile next to the fields that source supplied.

What we cover — and what we don’t

This directory does not claim to list every organization worldwide, and it does not claim global completeness. A country with a count covers only what its open register publishes, not its full nonprofit sector.
